How to organize books into a series
This shows you how to group related books together in a series for consistent branding and easier management.
Before you start
- You need at least one completed book to start a series.
- Series help the AI agent maintain consistency when creating sequels (shared characters, style, themes).
Steps
-
Go to Series in the sidebar.
-
Click Create Series at the top.
- Enter a series name (max 60 characters).
- Optionally add a description and "Notes for Agent" — instructions the AI uses when creating new books in this series.
-
To assign an existing book to a series, open the book editor and use the Series dropdown below the title.
-
Alternatively, from the book editor click "Create Series from This Book" to start a new series and assign the book in one step.
What to expect
Books in a series appear grouped on the Series page. When you create a new book and mention the series, Rosie uses the series notes to maintain consistency — same art style, characters, and themes across volumes.
Common issues
I can't find the series dropdown It's in the book editor page, below the book title area. You need a completed book open.
