Getting Started

How do I sign up? Go to bookcreatorstudio.com and click "Get Started." You can sign up with email or Google. Account creation takes under a minute.

Is there a free trial? Yes. All paid plans include a 7-day trial for $1. You get full access to the platform during the trial. Cancel before 7 days and you won't be charged the full subscription price.

Is there a free plan? There's no free book generation. Free accounts can browse and download books from the free weekly book library, and use the free tools (KDP Royalty Calculator, BSR Sales Calculator). To generate your own books, you need a paid plan starting at $29/month.

How long does setup take? Sign up takes under a minute. Your first book can be generated in about 5 minutes — describe what you want to Rosie, confirm the plan, and generation starts automatically.

What does BookCreatorStudio do? It generates complete, print-ready coloring books, activity/puzzle books, and picture books using AI. You describe what you want in a chat, and the platform plans every page, generates all images, compiles the PDF, and writes your listing copy. One prompt produces an entire book.

Who is BookCreatorStudio for? Amazon KDP sellers, Etsy digital download creators, educators making classroom materials, parents creating personalized books for their kids, and anyone who wants to create and sell books without illustration or design skills.

What types of books can I create? Six types: Coloring Books, Adult Coloring Books, Picture Books, Adult Picture Books, Puzzle/Activity Books, and Hybrid Books (mix of all types). Puzzle books include 26 different puzzle types with auto-generated answer keys.

Can I import my own artwork? Yes, in several ways:

Upload a character reference image and use that character across your books.
Use the Image Edit tool to transform your own images with AI.
Use Convert to Coloring to turn any photo into a coloring page.
The Cover Editor lets you work with the AI-generated cover or upload your own.

Do I own commercial rights to what I generate? Yes. Everything generated with a paid plan is yours to sell commercially on Amazon KDP, Etsy, or any other platform. You retain full commercial rights.

Which languages are supported? English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and more. Language support covers puzzle content (word searches, crossword clues), picture book narratives, and listing copy.

Pricing & Billing

How much does it cost? Plans range from $29/month (300 pages) to $197/month (6,000 pages). Annual billing saves ~20%. There are also one-time credit packs from $9.99 (50 credits) to $59.99 (500 credits). See Plans, credits, and how billing works for full details.

Can I change plans? Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from the Billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.

Can I cancel anytime? Yes. Cancel from your Billing page. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No long-term contracts.

Do you offer refunds? Contact support within 7 days of a charge if you're unsatisfied. We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Is there a discount for annual billing? Yes — approximately 20% off compared to monthly. Starter drops from $29 to $23/month, Studio from $97 to $77/month, etc.

What happens if I hit my monthly page limit? Generation pauses until your next billing cycle. You can still access existing books, export PDFs, edit covers, and use all non-generation tools. Purchase a credit pack or upgrade your plan to resume immediately.

Security & Data

Is my data secure? Yes. Authentication is handled by Clerk (enterprise-grade auth). Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-compliant). Your images are stored in Cloudflare R2 with per-user isolation.

Where is my data stored? Book data and metadata are stored in Convex (cloud database). Generated images are stored in Cloudflare R2 (global CDN). Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never store credit card numbers.

Can I export my data? Yes. Export any book as a PDF (KDP or Etsy format). Individual page images can be downloaded from the book editor. Your listing copy can be copied from the metadata panel.

What happens to my data if I cancel? Your books and images remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation. After that, data may be deleted. Export anything you want to keep before your access period ends.

What are your support hours? Support is available Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm Eastern Time. Agency plan customers receive priority support with faster response times.

How fast do you respond? Typical response time is under 24 hours for all plans. Agency plan customers typically receive responses within a few hours.
