How to edit images with AI

This shows you how to upload an image and transform it using AI — useful for touching up pages, creating variations, or experimenting with styles.

Before you start

  • Cost: 5 credits per AI model used.
  • You can upload up to 4 reference images at once.
  • Two models available: Nano Banana 3.1 Flash (fast, creative) and GPT Image 2 (high fidelity).

Steps

  1. Go to Image Edit in the sidebar.

  2. Upload 1-4 images by dragging and dropping or clicking the upload area.

  3. Write a prompt describing what you want done.

    • Example: "Remove the background and add a forest scene"
    • Example: "Convert to line art with thick outlines"
  4. Set options:

    • Aspect ratio — 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 3:2, or 2:3
    • Resolution — 1K or 2K
    • Models — select one or both (each costs 5 credits)
  5. Click Submit.

  6. Wait 15-30 seconds. Results appear below your input with a download button for each.

What to expect

One output image per selected model. If you selected both models, you'll see two results side by side — useful for comparing quality and style. Results are saved to your history and downloadable any time.

Common issues

Result doesn't match my prompt Be more specific. Include style details like "line art," "photorealistic," "cartoon style." The more precise the prompt, the better the output.

Insufficient credits Each model costs 5 credits. Selecting both costs 10 credits total. Check your balance on the Billing page.
