How to create product mockups

This shows you how to create realistic product mockups of your books for use in listings, social media, and marketing.

Before you start

You need a cover image or page image to place into the mockup.
Mockups are generated entirely in your browser — no credits needed.

Steps

Go to Mockups in the sidebar.
Browse the available mockup templates and click one to select it.
Upload your image(s) into the template slots.
- Most templates have one slot (the book cover), some have multiple (front + back, or book + device).
- Click the slot area and select your image file.
Adjust layer opacities if needed (some templates have overlay layers for shadows and reflections).
Click Render.
Preview the result on the canvas. If it looks good, click Download to save as a PNG.

What to expect

A high-quality composite image showing your book cover placed realistically on a mockup scene — on a table, in someone's hands, on a shelf, etc. Ready to upload as your listing's main image.

Tips

Use your exported cover image (not the raw AI output) for the most accurate mockup.
For KDP A+ content, create multiple mockups with different templates.
Mockups are free and unlimited — experiment with different templates.

Common issues

Render button doesn't work Make sure you've uploaded an image into at least one slot. The render button is disabled until an image is provided.
